He was awful in the first half but 10/10 in the second half. That save from martinez when akanji left the back pass was very underrated. What a guy, love big ed!
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deserves respect for his second half performance. Two outstanding saves. First half, like a lot of his teamates, was off the pace.

The save right at the end looked like it was going in. His biggest moment for us. Seconds later the final whistle wnt and Carson and ortega ran on over to him to congratulate him. Fantastic stuff.

Love him. His overall distribution is world class. Love to know how many actual assists he’s had. Yes he is prone to awful mistakes but he has ice water running through his veins and never affects him. As others on here said he made some great saves last night that kept us alive.

Although not a high scoring game, it's mad how many parallels there were with the Milan/Scouse Atatürk final. But when Eddie made that instinctive save point blank from lukaku's header I immediately remembered Dudek's incredible reaction save from shevchenko. Same goal end too.

Absolutely love the mad bastard.

Wanted to strangle him after the first half, wanted to suck him off at the end.
