I too have given up trying to get what goes on in Peps head.

As long as he keeps buying players to transform like he has then all good with me.

Some take longer than others to be transformed, this time last year we were all bitching about Jack, most of us agreed he needed longer and look at him this season.

Pep clearly sees something in these players he brings in.

It's l hard to explain, he's not like every other manager in that rather than just buying the best player available in a certain position.

He sees something them that only he can see to work with.

I can see Phillip's as not done yet.

Some he has bought in have excelled and then got complacent, others will be here for years to come.

Yes one or two he has bought have slotted straight which is great.

So in short, what i am tryiing to say is all the time he brings in players we question, we know that Pep is still wants to be involved in the project.

Long may it continue

We tend to find more positives with the players we actually sign but I'm as confident that this lad is going to the Tarquins as I am the Swamp is being sold to Qatar. :D :D

Reports that he only wants to join Arsenal because he won’t move from London.

The fact that no one on this thread has said, “He’s class. Get him in” says it all to me.

Let’s push the price up for Arsenal.

To be fair I don't recall anyone calling Grealish class before he joined us.

Is anyone (apart from me) saying it now?

To be fair Hazy was saying he was class while he was at Villa.

As a footballer he looks class, imposing, but like many said above, where do we play him?
Can he play with Rodri? I would say no.
But can he play what Stones did? Then the answer is yes.

I like him as a bloke, that is why I think he will fit here.

Even fatty Phillips looks like a decent fella and enjoyed every minute here

I wouldn’t be mad if we gave this one a miss and had Rico in more of a CM role. Even used as back up for Rodri.

I think he is perfect for the stones hybrid role.

He started off as a centre back and is now England's main central midfield. So can play alongside Rodri not in competition with.

He's captained west ham at 22 (I think) so has leadership qualities.

Home grown

Think he can do far more than he shows for Hammers as he's shackled a bit by their tactics.

It's a yes from me.

We should hover around all Arsenal's potential signings just to drive their prices up.

But you didn't, its all hindsight now. You should know what Mase is all about, he likes to juggle around. Gone from Kolorav, Otters, soon he'll probably ditch Grealish if Rice covers himself in tattoos and turns out a baller.

I think i may have but cant be arsed searching my posts. I have been a huge Grealish fan for years as thought he might play for ireland so always follow irish young players quite closely. Have a look if you are that keen…
