Best for us is Laporte or Cancelo plus money to Barca for de Jong.

Believe De Jong is on massive wages, 750k a week, not sure if that's true. But if it is correct cant see us paying that.

Not interested. Silly time of year for agent nonsense

Having a look he is nowhere that money PW, but there isn't a definitive answer. He was earning €15M a year which equates roughly to £300k a week, it got negotiated down to a lesser amount which Barca agreed to repay the difference in the back end of his contract that runs out in 2026. In 22 hew was reported widely (including Forbes) to be earning £232k a week......

Like I say it's very hard to get a real answer but if he's a tonne in ba k wages will he move anyway?

Not sure that the Dave Clark Five song will work for Pep and the disinfectant.

Few more tattoos and he'll look like Otter.

He's going to be phenomenal under Pep theoretically speaking.

This is a massive signing, still find it surreal that we're able to sign this calibre of player.

Young and versatile, potentially top top quality.

Surreal that treble winners can sign a young, relatively unproven Croatian that plays for a mid level German team, for big money?

Is laporte much worse than him?

Supposedly problems at final stages of negotiations. If they’re being cunts pull it and move on. The kid has told them he wants City, so it’s up to him now and how much he wants City.

Not really as he's under contract until 2027.
They also sold Szoboszlai to Liverpool as well so they probably don't need to sell.

Unfortunately mate contracts don’t mean anything. If a player pushes for the move and kicks up a fuss he’ll go. We’ve seen it a million times with Southampton players going to Liverpool. We’re seeing it with Mitrovic at Fulham.

If the player really wants to come and we’ve made more than a reasonable offer, then it’s up to him to push it. Reports of €100m deal and RB are fuckin about.

Yeah this is my thoughts too. We generally walk away from this kind of thing and in the past it has worked out for the best.

I dont think any defender is worth anything like that kind of money.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we do, however, we are known to tell clubs to fuck off if they are trying to rip us.
It's 50/50 for me now.

When asked if a deal had been reached, Eberl said: "A lot has been written and the latest information about Josko surprised us all.

"Currently we're still very far apart."

He added: "As you can see, Josko is here - so it's not true.

"He didn't do a medical check - not that we know. And I don't think he did it behind our backs because he's just a full professional.

"There is no agreement, not even remotely an agreement."

Call it a day and move on. RB will be left with an unhappy player and agent.
