I am and so are a lot of fans. Bernardo might still be off to penniless Barca, Palmer is almost certainly going on loan after failing to impress, McAtee is in the the squad for experience - nowhere near a first team starter yet. Agree Alvarez needs more minutes which will likely be in the KDB role - not wide right - same for Foden. Not happy about it but I fancy Wilf Zaha or Adama Traore might even rock up to fill the Mahrez gap - both currently available on a free. Like to see Leroy back personallynottsblue wrote:johnny crossan wrote:Twitter has announced our Algerian prince is off to Saudi, wonder which replacement candidate will pop up like Pavard has with Walker now set to depart?
We have Grealish, Foden, Bernardo, McAtee, Palmer and at a push Alvarez who can all play out wide
Not concerned

Rico is clearly going to get more minutes this season and Walker isn’t really a player who can get forward and put in quality balls. I’m sure Pep would like to keep him but only for a certain type of match. Mahrez will go surely. Pissed off at missing both Cup Finals and the money is very tempting at his age. Plus as a Moslem Saudi Arabia isn’t as unsympathetic an environment as for some. Frenkie for Bernie? Problem is Frenkie’s wages. We really need to know on Walker and Mahrez asap so we can sort replacements. Obviously I hope we keep Bernie preferably with a new contract.
Fulham have rejected bid worth up to £45m from West Ham for midfielder Joao Palhinha.
The Cottagers are not encouraging offers for the player and are understood to value him at £80m.
