The only thing I can think of is that this player has a decent left foot so can play left-back if required as opposed to Harwood-Bellis who is right-footed.

There will no doubt be a myriad of other reasons.

But I fully agree that until they are tried we’ll never know if they can be trusted. And as I’ve mentioned loads of times, it’s an area we are poor at and could do a lot better. Especially in games we are coasting in. That’s the time to give a few minutes here and there to give the young lads a taster. I think he haggle over the structure of the payments rather than the price. We’ve known all summer he’s £86m.
