We all know what his qualities are (were) and we could always use some more pace up top. We all know what his weaknesses are (were) but if he shows them on the pitch, we also know he won't do it for long before he's ditched. Some of the balls he used to play in for Sterling to tap away, imagine them with Haaland on the end. I say why not?

A talented boy whi could have kicked on and had the world at his feet. Unfortunately, he does not have the mental toughness and necessary discipline. .No way Pep would take him back
I loved Sane back in the day, and think that had he stayed he'd have become something very special. He seems to have stagnated at BM, most likely due to his attitude and the club letting him have his own way and not pushing him. I'd love to see him back, but I suppose a lot depends on whether he's realised that Pep's input is of far more value to him than his mothers.
Like Phillips I don’t think Sane has the brain for Pep-ball too many times he’d blaze past people and then try a 25 yard shot and the camera would cut to Pep going radio rental on the touchline. He deffo has the physical attributes but lacks the mental acuity to play the type of pass move pass that we play.
He played really well with Merlin. Problem inconsistency and not enough tracking back. I can’t see him fitting into the team on the left now Grealish is playing well.
