Kaoru Mitoma

Odds shortening on this lad joining us, would help in the Far East sponsor market too
"Guardiola was left impressed and discussed the 26-year-old prior to the pre-season friendly with Yokohama Marinos. When asked about the quality of Asian football, he said: "Well I would say the impact of [Kaoru] Mitoma on the Premier League has been incredible. He is in the right place with the right manager and his last season was extraordinary. And look at what Japan have done in the World Cup in a tough, tough group.
That's a ringing endorsement and Mitoma has the exact game-changing attacking prowess City will be missing without Mahrez. The 26-year-old is predominantly a left-winger but has played on the right in the past and looks as though he would have no trouble playing there at City. In turn, it would also be great extra cover for Jack Grealish and to ensure Foden doesn't have to be deployed out wide again."

Not sure about this one. Was scintillating but then regressed at the back end of last season. Give him 1 more season to see

We don’t need a left winger?

That’s the point Mase. Can he play comfortably on the right? That’s what we need to replace Mahrez. Olise anyone?

Olise would be a better option. Still only 21.

This lad from Brighton only played well for half a season as a left winger

Scintillating until in the penalty box.

Largely responsible for Brighton losing the cup semi

Foden can play on the right

But Mitoma has a very poor end product for me. Whether that would improve with playing with better players? Not convinced myself

Playing Welbeck up front didn't help either

Wouldn't be sure about this one.
However the search for the mahrez replacement does seem a little stale.

Brighton dont sell players easily or cheaply, look at Moses Caicedo and cucurella last year. This would be extremely hard to get over the line, questionable whether he would work for us too so its a no from me.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
