Good from Pep. But also slightly embarrassing we’ve lost three on the trot.

Arteta is embarrassing. Bringing on his kids on the field and celebrating like they've won the treble.

Not embarrassing at all Mase. To us it's a pre season friendly while the red teams treat it like a Cup Final. The fact we've played in 5 out of the last 6 while Liverpool have only been in 3 and Arsenal 2 and Leicester mad Chelsea 1 each in the same time period shows what we prioritise ie winning real trophies.

Just noticed Sunderland is 13 minutes added on. Is this normal now? Are we turning into the NFL ffs?!

8 subs is 4 minutes , other than that no real reason initially the only injury came after 8 was announced!!

Not at all, it tells you Pep doesn't rate and sees it as pre season. His way of giving back so the window lickers can feel better because they beat us

When you look at the quality of our team, even at 90% we should be beating no marks like Arsenal and Leicester.

I’m not too fussed, we win when it matters.

Will suit us over the course of the season.

The amount of time that gets wasted against us we'll be getting 15 mins extra every match

To us it is genuinely a pre season fixture which you can tell we factor in as part of our warm up games. We always play less games than others in pre season.

We tend to always have the legs to come on strong in the business end of the season though

For us it was about minutes in the legs.

Watching them celebrate was cringe.

I suppose it is our fault the others have to celebrate Charity Shield and Carabao Ciup wins. like they mean something.

Going to be interesting watching these Bent referees implementing the new rules at their own discretion.Just like they did with VAR.

I can see it now Every Rag/Bindipper/Arse game given 8 - 15 minutes injury time if they are losing 1-0.

There is no doubt. The added time was always there, they just chose to implement it when they wanted to.

It’s brilliant for the likes of Arsenal, Rags, Liverpool…the ref will use it as an excuse to play until they equalise or get the winner. 100%

So Akanji is our boo boy of the moment? Poor choice - my current preference is Kova, he killed most of our attacks after the first 20 mins

Akanji must be our most utilised player, played everywhere across the back 4 and DM. For what we paid he’s been an absolute star.

As for Kovajic, he wasn’t impressive but with only a few games under his belt, I’m not expecting him to be running games yet.

What will we see when the game is won, will they still play by the set standards or just sack it like we’ve seen before?

Yep, our nearest competitor and I’d say far from no-marks. In fact, I thought they were superb for the majority of the season and hoping that their early start, once gain, bites them on the arse as per last season.

Absolutely not. Boo boy? We are allowed to criticise, surely? You think he's good enough? I respect any opinion from solid Blues like you, my take is that he is a ticking timebomb every time he plays. Roll on Josko. Won't boo any of them, the exception being that other atrocious defender, Cancelo, who also bizarrely attracted praise from some quarters. Nuts, IMHO.
