We could bring in Pep and he would fail here. The club is rotten from top to bottom. We couldn't even get the right coat of red for a paint job on our stadium.
That guy is correct about Pep. Even he couldn't sort that mess out.
They have had some good managers who have failed. The place is toxic.
In every type of organisation, such as businesses, clubs, associations, governments etc, The problems always stem from the top down.
Long live the Glazers.
Absolutely
And the recurring theme on the thread which that quote was lifted from, is one of realisation and acceptance that they won’t be challenging any time soon until the whole structure of the club has changed. With new owners, a proper DoF who oversees a coherent transfer strategy, and the still large number of deadwood players still at the club on large salaries moved on. Which of course will take time. Lots of it. Whilst we have further accelerated ahead on and off the pitch, widening the gap even more considerably.
Quite simply, they are fucked
Quite correct, but I do wonder why.
The owners by all accounts are uninterested in the club apart from it being their personal cash cow. So why would they not put a proper structure in place to ensure maximum returns.
I was always of the opinion that Taggart was putting his oar in, but I'm not sure he can have that much influence after all this time.
There is obviously a seriously toxic culture there, but why would the Glaziers encourage it? Its totally against their interests.
All very weird but all very wonderful.
Long may it continue.

I thought debt was good and owner investment was frowned upon.
