After last season’s travesty I really hope we give these bastards a drubbing, however I suspect the powers that be hold all the aces. Fear another daylight robbery is on the cards.

Same. Plus it all depends on if he plays our best defence or not. And then of course if he picks Kova or Nunes.

The ref is Paul Tierney, last time we had him was FA Cup final when we beat the rags, taking that as a good omen

No mate, he was absolutely terrible that day! Tried his best to fuck us over and if it wasn’t for Gundo blasting two screamers he’d have got his wish as well. That tackle on Akanji from Casemiro that was a straight red and he gave them the free kick! The penalty we should have had on Kev that he didn’t give. Awful ref

Sutton’s prediction is 5-1 for City, so that’s us fucked then

True. Still not seen an angle for that “penalty” that shows the ball changed trajectory. At most it grazed Grealish’s finger nails - not enough to give a penalty at all.

Managed to get 2 tickets for this. Paid over the top for them as a one off for my daughter's 16th. Have to wonder how away tickets for the swamp get on the black market? I can see another Haaland hat-trick

I expect bent decisions going against us and another derby without a penalty for us, making it 14 or 15 years in a row, in the league.

The penalty situation is an absolute joke. Last one at home was 2007, Darius Vassell missed it. Last one at the swamp was 1992, Keith Curle scored it to equalise in a 1-1. Over 30 years ago.

2007 was Vassell? In 2006-2007? I swear I remember it was in 2008-2009. I think Van der Saar saved it or so?
The last penalty we had against them was Tevez scoring in the semi of the League Cup, can't remember if it was december 2009 or January 2010.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Tierney was Howard Webbs godson or something similar
