if the 25 percent stake purchase costing Radcliffe 1 billion takes place and the Rags use it to remove their mountain of debt of 960 million. Then i would expect their share price to rise. If the Glazers take the money out , i would expect the reverse and a share price nosedive. Although the latter is somewhat tacky and tasteless, i fully expect the Glazers to fill their bank accounts.

The interesting thing there, is that if this money is used for infrastructure and debt repayment, the club was actually only valued at 3bn pre-money, as 1bn for 25% in this scenario would be the post-money carve up.

Thats a big hit on what they were allegedly trying to rinse Qatar for......no wonder he walked away
