Some one was on this morning (can't remember who) and they said they wanted anything other than a City win just so that we get a title race of some sort as it it would be boring for City to run away with it. I kind of get that, but aren't we only a point clear? I don't think we've even been that impressive (yet).

And, whilst I firmly believe in the conspiracy against us, everybody hated the Rags once. It goes with the territory. Now no one cares about them!

It all comes down to the stupidity and hypocrisy of people, to be honest.
Take Germany for example. Bayern is doing what they fucking want, takes anything from their opponents, runs with the league and people find it natural.
Then you come back here or in Europe, people love the cartel, but when someone breaks them, like we did, or even PSG, people seem to get annoyed. Then you hear of United, or Liverpool, ffs, under Taggart the rags took all the best players in the country, but that looked "natural"

There's a really good piece in Nedum's recently released book about the england setup which echoes with the current set-up. He mentions how certain players were always capped at U21 level despite not getting into their clubs' academy or U21 /23 teams. Gives his own example that he was already a first team starter at City and suffered because of it

Plans for football to introduce 10-minute sin-bins for cynical fouls and dissent have been recommended for trialling in the professional game.

The game's lawmaking body, the International Football Association Board (Ifab), said it will "identify which levels are best to test".

The trial will also include a rule allowing only the team captain to approach the referee during a game.
