He looks ideal for a Jeremy Kyle comeback. He must be a laughing stock in the Changing room. He and his agent must have had the call from above Pep….A WTF meeting……

Just read that Toon might sell their best players because of FFP. There is no chance other club will rise and fight the establishment. The cartel can’t risk another one.
So fuckint corrupted.

Seems to me 'English ffp' is shafting a lot of clubs who voted for it
Not least Arsenal and Manchester United

Well, Reading the abstainers have certainly gone from strength to strength, haven't they?

I'm sure that everton would hope so. Mind, as they look to be in breach for a second time, they have got to be worried themselves. Do the PL have the balls to go after everton again. If they are in breach again, you would like to think so

I am just blown away how fans that are not rags/scouse can agree with this.
If I am Burnley, Wolves or fuck know who I have zero chances of winning the league. Might get a cup by some miracle.
And they don't seem bother by this, they only see bad old City ruining football.
We surely must live in a simulation.

Surely both clubs will be given a 10 point deduction as the precedent has been established earlier on this season. So in Everton’s case it will amount to 20 points as they have breached the rules in two separate seasons, which will very likely relegate them.
The pull over at Goodison is gonna be very bitter

Clough was a disgrace as a manager, great results but the way he went about it was terrible. He would regularly have done the deal and signed contracts behind the owner or chairman's back, certainly one of the reasons he left Derby. Back me or sack me was his motto to chairmen, and then reminded them that the fans loved him not the chairman.

I read the 10 points was because they had been working with the PL and had been warned that they were close to failing P&S, but went ahead and spent more on players anyway, hoping a higher finish would cover it. Results didn't come, so their gamble failed. The independent commission took a dim view of that behaviour, hence the harsh punishment.

Ah OK. But even if it's only 5 points it's still a big blow. And the authorities might not take too kindly to a second breach in successive seasons, it could be worse even?

I can't imagine they will get another points deduction this season. The fact the P/L have changed the rules so they can fast track punishments is hardly blue scouses fault, so I imagine any points deduction will have to wait until next season.
Which of course begs the question of what happens if Everton breach the rules again this season?

It's worldwide, imho.
Fans can't see that FFP was something created to stop new people at the big boys table and they are not bother by it.
Seen in Poland or Croatia, or even Serbia, those "Against Modern Football" banners but most of them are labeled as hooligans.

Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi was not in attendance on Monday night as he won his third and final 'The Best FIFA Men's Player of the Year' award.
Perhaps the Argentine great had other arrangements but you would think he'd attend if he could to celebrate the end of his era. Those voting on the award included club captains, national team head coaches, 'expert' journalists and supporters from across the globe.
Presumably, none of them thought to read the qualifying criteria for the accolade, though. The award was meant to be handed to the player who has performed the best between the dates of December 19, 2022 and August 20, 2023.
Messi's heroics in THAT World Cup final came a day prior, on December 18, but this did not stop the panel from tying the Ligue 1 and Leagues Cup champion with a Treble winner.

Winning best FIFA Mens player of the year for the Miami Micky mousers FC just about sums up what these awards are all about.
Pathetic and fuckign laughable.
