My Competition Video Entry

Postby MelbourneBlue » Tue Mar 02, 2010 6:31 pm

Hi Guys,

Given that Dazby's brilliant entry didnt make the shortlist, and the anger/amazemen/frustration it caused, i am writing in the hope that you guys will vote for my entry (Paul D).
When I saw Daz's entry I thought his would win hands down, and secretly hoped it wouldnt get picked as I knew I would be done for.
My suggestion as to why it wasnt picked is possibly down to the fact that he used celebrity pictures, and there could be copyright issues. I have no idea whether this was the case, maybe it was too long, i dont really know.
However that is in the past now and I hope you guys take the time to vote for me.
Yes, I am an aussie, but I am not a criminal.
I have never been to Manchester, this would be my only chance to go (affordibilty).
I am not sure why you guys, as posted on dazby's thread, wouldnt vote for anybody in protest. Seriously, why deprive a fellow blue a chance to see City play.

As I said, I hope you take the time to vote (for me especially).
Thanks for your time.

I'm dissappointed dazby didn't make it, and want a blue from this board to win it as an alternative, so failing anyone else coming forward, you have my vote Melbourne

I'm also gutted that Daz insn't on the short list. Not only did he put tremendous effort into making that vid, he also did it brilliantly.
That said, I'll vote for you Melbourn.

voted for you mate, but i have to say...the difference between Dazby's vid and yours is night and day. You could be right about the image rights issue for the celebrity City stars in his vid. i hadn't ever thought of that. Or maybe the club felt it wasn't appropriate even it wasn't an imagine rights thing.

i looked at all the entries and Dazby's was fuclin head and shoulders above those by a mile...wherez Chris N to sort this out?

it's a fucking disgrace.

Voted for you. A fellow ManCityFanDotNetter, anyhow.

I'm trying not to be a drama queen for once, but this is a huge misjustice for Dazby.
