If we’re apportioning blame for the first goal surely Ortega should have most of it. Gvardiol was dealing well with the long through ball. All it needed was Ortega to stay calm and it was an easy claim. Not sure why he rushed out like that. He was nowhere near and couldn’t handle it anyway.

I’d make a change, Kova is not needed.

Kova has been one of the only City players actually making passes and decent runs.

He has, and noting Rodri’s pass for the first goal, but he just isn’t needed against a team that are parking the bus and hitting us on the break.

Would very much like more control in the final third, whether that be Doku or Grealish, I’m not sure.
