Love the never-say-die attitude of the Albanians, no surprise with Pablo Zabeleta as assistant manager.
"You sir, will either be hung as a traitor or die of the pox"
"That sir, depends on whether I embrace your principles or your mistress"

Longest VAR check for the tournament so far in the Netherlands v France game and guess what country the officials were from. If Anthony Taylor is our best ref there's major problems

To be fair to Taylor, he gave the goal. Saw nothing wrong with it. The goalie wasn't unsighted and the ball was in the back of the net before the goalie even moved . So the Dutch player, who also didn't move had no influence. Further, Taylor wasn't even asked to go and look at a screen to reconsider his choice. It was a goal.Atwell should stand down.

Got to be on Atwell. Sick of hearing the increased use of 'subjective' it's a fucking cop out. The rules are the rules apply them correctly and consistently. if you cannot even get to that when having the time to review and brush up on the law, why bother?

The other buzzword or buzzphrase 'phase of play'. As in , how far can we go back in the play to deny this goal against the rags? Or as Clive James once quipped, "How far does Bobby Charlton have to part his hair down the side of his head, before he finally accepts that he is bald?"

As far as his arse?
The "top" English referees are so used to being told which team to give decisions to that they are no longer capable of getting it right. It is an embarrassment to the nation, even more so than the manager. arsegate is just phenomenally shit but the referees are bent, which imo is far worse.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Absolutely dominant.
Can't see him being able to do that for the next 5 matches they'd need though, he'll break down again

I really liked him until he proved himself to be a cunt of the highest order, so it's a big no from me.

He has absolutely zero chance to come back whilst Pep is in charge. Undoubtedly talented, but not good enough to 'demand' he plays more often in our team

Cancelo can’t defend. When he’s arsed he can deliver some great passes. Anyway he’s burned his bridges with Pep. He’s a massive sulker when he’s not playing. Stinks out the dressing room.
