Dumfries is a decent player and can put it about abit when he wants - usually all game. He had his foot up challenging for a ball. His problem was that his foot arrived late, never got near the ball and KAnes follow thru got caught. Seen them given, seen them waved away. On this occassion it went in our favour. Dumfies was lucky a few m8nutes later not to get booked for bring down Foden when he was thru on goal. Nothing given? So swings and roundabouts. Also their 6'6" clogger Weghorst that gets wheel out to rough up a few defenders should have seen at least a red for his neckholds and elbowing. We'll get beaten in the final so i'm not getting too excited

Middle of the field that's a late tackle/kick and booking every day of the week. I don't know why the commentators seem to think there are different rules in the penalty box. But they always do - and who the hell was that American woman talking shite?

it wasn’t an off the ball incident!
like others have said, it’s a yellow card offence anywhere else on the pitch! the only dodgy bit is the ref not giving it in the first place!!

How wasn't it off the ball? He'd already released the ball, and had no realistic chance of regaining it.

he is challenging for the ball! fucking hell!

Not when contact is made, he isn't. And there's no foul before contact is made.

Now you are absolutely correct. There is no foul before contact was made. Therefore , he clearly made contact and it was over the ball , with studs up. At the point of contact, the ball wasn't out of play and it is clearly a foul . Remember, he made contact and even you are saying this. Penalty,

The ball was in row z when Kane kicked the defenders foot. Kane had studs up so should have been shown a red.

That was the sort of penalty that gets given against us in a derby.

Kane made sure the question was asked. Dumfries has to block the shot. Football is non contact and the defender gets punished to the maximum for minimal contact. Remember how quickly Vinny got a red v the rags, you see the replay no contact, just a scream. Watch Morata on Sunday!!!

Kane went with his instep as he was shooting so studs down.
The defender might have had a case if he had some kind of block on the ball but he didn't, it was a last ditch tackle that he was late on, he missed the tackle and block and went into the attacker, so for me its a foul. If it was the other way around and he got there just before Kane it would have been a foul the other way - but he didn't.

The defender could have used his body to block instead lunging like a tackle - his mistake.

It’s a penalty because the ref gave a penalty. It’s happened now and no amount of arguing can change that.

Arsenal were given a penalty at the Emirates not last season but one before where the player missed his shot and he and Ederson had a coming together after the ball went out and the shot was already missed. Ref gave a pen and we were all up in arms. It was exactly the same. If it’s against your team it’s not a pen. If it’s for your team it’s a pen.

England have been lucky with a crap qualifying group and a charmed path to the final. Spain are favourites and the best team but obviously England have a decent chance. Football eh? Funny old game. I’m just hoping our guys don’t get injured and turn up reasonably fresh for the
new season.

A shame that Stones is always injured, because he could step in to give Rodri a rest with Dias/Akanji and Ake/Josko behind him.

Great for the Captain to say agree utter wanker

He was a sheet of Bronco from the Krauts this time last year. Really hope the Spanish lad has him on toast for that obnoxious remark. Walker has the brains of a lobotomised amoeba.

Also said Rodri has weaknesses, what an odd approach to his interview. Should have done what rodri said about foden and just said all is great. Its unnecessary from walker, he isnt the sharpest tool in the shed.

Goes without saying i hope they get hammered.
derby day the scores were level,

Also said Jack wasn’t chosen on merit. He needs to shut the fuck up. Also needs moving on this summer.

Easily our worst captain in the last 10 years.

He also said it will mean more than winning the treble.

If he’s not arsed about trophies for us we can always sell him to Sheff
