You're certainly a strange lad. Talking about keyboard warriors and challenging for a fight in the same breath... that's pretty impressive

I've obviously struck a nerve and I'll stop playing with you for now.

But remember- "Alvarez haters will be squirming"

Oh dear, gimpy is upset now. I haven't challenged you to fight, you're not a challenge, it's embarrasing to call fighting Mr Bean a challenge. Its like smacking uncle Fester, just feels wrong. Just wanted to let you know, in the real world, you wouldnt have the balls abd be that brave behind a screen. We all know, gimps like yourself, will twist it around to some kind of threat. Like I said, I know your type. Now get back to grooming your potatoes.

Jesus can't someone have a different opinion without the thread descending to a mental age of five. It's not like it's a matchday thread FFS.

Can't remember when I joined, but I think there was some sort of restart later, which is the date on my profile. But back in the day, when we were shocking and had so much to argue about, it was brutal, and busy, on here.

Carl does his best to maintain old times, but he's fighting the battle mostly alone :D

I'm coming to suspect that Alvarez is a bit of a pain in the dressing room. I have sympathy for him, but in that position you have to do the business when the chance comes. Second half of the season he wasn't and missed a few he should easily score, not least in the cup final

You could argue he wasn't getting enough practice. Or you might not

Alvarez is actually the quietest of personalities in the dressing room so no idea where you dreamt that one up from ?

Haaland missed plenty as well , actually missed disgustingly clear cut chances , chances that if it was
Alvarez missing them then folk would want him
Hung drawn and quartered !!!! but Haaland knew he would still get picked ahead of anyone else no matter how many he missed , so there was zero pressure on him - unlike the pressure on Alvarez to perform with zero room for errors .

As I said , he’s world class and there is or there should be no fucking argument on that fact and he will be a 20 plus scorer of goals a season in another team that plays him more in his favoured position .

As for this place , some people have short memories - as you said above it was fucking mayhem back in the day when we were shit - we had more characters than looney tunes have and todays current ‘spats’ are nothing compared to some of the ‘rants and fights ’ back then - it was hilarious .

I’m going to be chilled this season , possibly .

Quiet personality can be an issue Carl. You don't have to scream and shout. Just means he might not really fit in - speculation.

Anyway, what does Savio/Savinho do?

Can’t be worse at crossing than Walker is - so an improvement .

Savio is an upgrade on Doku.

Jack seems to be back with a great attitude. Njorl is looking good up front.

I think Alvarez is a great player and in no way should we consider selling him. Whoever has said anything ? his agent , getting skint ?

The kid has had an amazing two / three years . Titles with Club, country rolling in. This is where we need intelligent players like Zabs coming back into the fold and assisting the players - even if only nominal .

Carl , OB is faster than you think, and is a tricky little bugger. I am looking forward to him making a big impact this season.

Furthermore i thing the depth is there this year to go for everything.

Funnily enough, we have Dunnie and Kolo Toure back at City, coaching the kids. Zaba would be amazing and I think Bellamy would have been a good coach, obviously Wales manager now.

Zaba did an amazing job with Albania as Sylvinho's assistant.

That's not going win you post of the year potato groomer.

Fancy laughing at your posts, I bet you're squirming for someone to join your little crusade. What a weak little man.

I'm not sure why the words 'grooming' and 'squirming' touched your nerve. It's starting to make sense now. Maybe I should add 'predator' to the list. That will touch your nerve. It's only you that's reacting, which makes its very suspicious. Afterall, Internet predators have a certain charm. You carry on squirming potato groomer.

So that will add on £30m to what they need to pay us, on top of the £70m if we have to take shite like him.

Either that or tell them we’ll throw a Phillips or Nunes in for free

The Irish aren’t a race. It would be xenophobic.

Sorry, pet peeve that the term ‘racism’ gets thrown around when it isn’t.

This Felix character - is he any good? Obviously been held back by Simone’s tactics, but I can’t really remember him at Chelsea? Anyone watch him for Barca?

I think you will find the term refers to ethic groups as well , of which they are , just as the English are.

I reckon he’d be no better than Bobb personally

So it’s a 100% no from me

So why was the word xenophobic invented? It’s not racist. Just because a definition has been updated on Google based on muppets in society (mainly online) it doesn’t make it real.

My thoughts too. I’d rather we see Bobb or McAtee given more minutes.

Apparently we tried to sign Felix before, when he went to AM but he chose them. I wouldn’t bother.
