Those complaining that Pep doesn’t give our youngsters a fair chance should be pleased that we didn’t go in for expensive midfield imports. The likes of Oscar, Rico and even O’Reilly have a real chance this season. You’d think that Kevin and Bernardo may be playing their last seasons, maybe Walker too. With all due respect you're prepared to believe an unofficial source via FB, Pep said that over a week ago.. and from what I gather since Pep did say that Ederson said he was happy to stay.

The buy backs don’t work. Why not loan him for a couple of years. He was playing and scoring in the CL for us last season - why not loan him for two years and see what’s what. Makes no sense.

Is he a winger in the main?

If so he has Savio, Doku, Bernado, Bobb, Grealish, Foden who can all play out wide. That’s a lot of talent currently well ahead of him

We never what goes on in training and what the players agent and the player himself are thinking. Maybe he hasn’t shown enough in training to warrant a coveted squad place? After all, as champions in 6 of the last 7 seasons our benchmark is high

He will have done enough to get a good move and stay in football and he will earn us a few bob. That’s the way it is

Weird way to reward a lad that’s not showing enough in training by constantly having him in the CL squads and taking him on the American tour.

We can only speculate from a fans point of view. Pep sees him every day in training, but he also saw Palmer every day in training..
