When I was a young boy, even delivering newspapers, looking to the west early morning , i was pretty much obsessed with wanting to go to America. for a variety of reasons.

Gundo has had it in his head since a child to play for Barcelona.

The problem is , dreams as a child, made good when older are not the same. In the US i saw a broken country, not what i was expecting.

Gundo went to a club that is bankrupt. ( Btw the US is bankrupt, debt is an all time high).

He wants out ? get him back immediately , player coach. Half the salary as before. He'll bite peps hand.

We play hardball with cancelo and gundo holds on for us (as they will think they can sell him to highest bidder and get canxelo for free)

I would personally drive him.
Huge boost if so.
Something we really need.

City should not be helping Barca in anyway. I’m sure Pep knows Gundo is available, they all chat and possibly have houses in the same neck of the woods around SITGES. Cancelo it’s a shame he’s a talent but unlike his countrymen he chooses to be a pain in the arse of Pep. If Gundo wants to come back, it’s a game changer, he has had a seasons break at Farcalona.

I'd suggest a season-long loan with Barca paying 75% of his wages. Then use that money to offer him a 1-year contract once his deal at Barca expires in the summer.

I doubt they're paying his wages at present!

Backward step to accept him back as a player, but i doubt he wants to return. Need to build for the future.

He was an extremely important and loved player, scored some memorable goals.

Gutted when he left, but my mourning him is now over, I agree, bringing him back would be a mistake.

And before someone mentions SWP second coming, that was different he didn't want to leave, so it is totally different.

Could do both? In games where we need experience then Gundo is your man. Games against Ipswich then players like McAtee should be playing. It’s a long ol’ season

He is still a fantastic player and would be a tremendous boost.
Also I love hearing the ice cream truck tune.

He was immense while he was with us. I think it would be a bad move to bring him back. If he were to return, how long until his wife wanted out again? Let Barcelona find another buyer.

If we’re not interested, Arsenal will be. Couldn’t imagine seeing him playing for them and scoring those goals at the end of the season that end up winning the league/cup.
