5 more hatrick for Erl and he beats the all time record for number of hatrick in the Prem (12 held by Sergio).

At the moment he has 7, on par with Rooney but in 423 matches less

When he got two so early you felt a hattrick was inevitable although it took till the 88th minute. When he thumped that header in the second half I was sure he’d score. Great save.

Only downsides were Ederson for the goal and his other brain brainfart that he got away with plus Stones in the DM role doesn't work. Gundo can do it, we know that.

Second half drop off is a concern for me. We fucked about passing to each other needlessly before even trying to create a chance. Haaland hattrick masked that second half shit show. KdB can do 45 mins max

Ipswich went to a back five so it was much more difficult to score. Also Pep was focused on not conceding transitions. 3-2 would have made things tricky. It would have been nice if Rico had buried the chance in the first half and Erling had a powerful header saved in the second half. In the end it was comfortable.

Seems to be one of those bits of footage that have been buried.

I was 320 miles away and it was clear to me. Ref should be 'rested'. Maybe he will be

That's the downside of match going, If you're at the opposite end you can't see any detail.
It'd be nice to have the chance to see it properly.

total ref cock up, it was a penalty, as was Erlings in the fourth minute.

Worth noting that the ref didn't give the Silvinho penalty - VAR obviously saw it as a clear and obvious fuck up, sorry error

4-1 should have been 6-1

Arsenal and Chelsea banging them in - we have to show no mercy instead of the usual bang average play after we are 3 up -

Second half was such a fucking anti climax compared to the first .

That’s my whinge for the day

Arsenal have scored 4 to our 6.
Haaland has scored as many as Arsenal.
No team have scored more than us.

Kovacic being forced off affected us a bit more than it should have done. Stones as was said, is not an effective player in that role. We will get six at their shithole when we play them next.

Last season went down to the wire on goal difference so when the opportunity shows itself for us to score a hatful against a weak team like Ipswich, we should take full advantage of it.

No excuses for us not burying them in the second half.....Ipswich were comedy gold at the back.

It's going to be a long season. I reckon pep has told them to conserve energy in game when they can. Expect far fewer bigger scores. Not ideal for fans I agree, but it's a trade off.
