Another game, same comments, just a different set of fans. Agree with Nottsblue in the match thread, and not too stressed about this one. Although I thought that last week and it only lasted six minutes! I’m thinking three goals and three points tonight.

COME ON CITY!!!

Referee: Michael Oliver

Assistants: Stuart Burt, Dan Cook

Fourth official: James Bell

VAR: Darren England

Assistant VAR: Simon Bennett

Team Selection

Areola
Wan-Bissaka Mavropanos Kilman Emerson
Guido Alvarez Soucek
Kudus Bowen Paqueta

And the rest ...

Need to win this to claw back the ground lost in the title race losing to Villa...Clean sheet would be nice too.

May be unpopular but id start Antonio in this one. Were going to have hardly any of the ball & while he does have his limitations, he is handy in these sort of games holding the ball up, winning fouls and getting us higher up the pitch.

Antonio will start, he has done well v City previously. I don't think Alvarez will start, I think he'll go 4-3-3 with Soucek, Rodriguez and Paqueta as the midfield three, the rest of the team picks itself if everyone is fit. Personally I'd rather Alvarez over Soucek in this game.

Damage limitation.

56-0 to the Abu Dhabi Blues.

Not sure how we can get anything from this, especially if we try to play them at their own game.

we are due a win against these cheaters !

I have a feeling it won't be the usual drubbing...1-2

If Rodri is back he’ll manage his usual double figure fouls without punishment. They’ll get all the major decisions natch. I actually hate this fixture now as I much as I used to hate going to Anfield.

We're gonna have to.put in a vast improvement from Wednesday night, just to stay in the game

Intrigued as to how J Lo approaches this.

After several years of conceding defeat before the ball is kicked I wonder if he’ll continue that trend. His past suggests he likes playing the bigger sides and coming up with a plan for them.

Alleged?

Surprisingly bitter these days are the Hammers. You'd think after suffering Moyes for a while they'd be happy to be in the PL
