He definitely should have played Kev and got a bollocking at the end too.

Thought it would be tight and so it proved.

But a win is all that counts and four from four is a perfect start

Over to you now Arsenal. Tomorrow is already a big game in the title race. Lose tomorrow and the next weekend and they are 8 points behind. That’s a lot of pressure building

Much better second half. Should have scored a couple. They did have a late chance. Rodri made a big difference and so did Gvardiol. Good subs. Savio likely out for Inter and Arsenal.

Lewis being taken off and not Walker was criminal. He carries on doing shit like that this season I won’t bother

Players should earn the right to play, not play just because their mates voted them captain and you’re embarrassed you went to the effort of meeting someone in a restaurant to keep them

I don’t think Rico had his best game. Could have put him on the right with Gvardiol coming on I suppose. Agreed Walker didn’t play well. A decent chest back to Ederson late on. After being partly responsible for the goal big Ed had a good game.

We’ve seen for many seasons that Pep wants to protect players and get minutes into their legs when he feels they are needed. All about the endgame, I think, and only he has the big picture.

Definitely surprised to see both Stones and Walker starting, and Rico on the other side.

3 points though, against a very decent team, while getting minutes for a few of our oldies. I’ll take that.

He is very soft. He nearly cost us in that last passage. All our widemen need to up their output, they all look dangerous and produce nothing at the end.

2mins was great inj time, its never 2 mins. I thought ref was decent.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,

There's a lot of rustiness around at the moment. Pep is trying to juggle it all

Giving minutes isn’t more important than giving goal chances away though mate. Walker and Stones were all over the show and Walker especially gave them a few chances. He should get his minutes in the EDS if that’s the case, not making mistakes in important games.

Problem with the defence 1st half was they were all right sided players. Our 2 left footers Gvardiol and Dias were on the bench. Walker and Stones were both shocking- Akanji best defender today but 2 great goals from the Viking again and another assist for Eddie. 4 assists now in the PL apparently which is unbelievable. Savinho getting better and better, that run and shot 2nd half was nearly goal of the season. Just needs to cut out the diving. Disappointed in Jack, had so much space so many times and didn't make the most of it. Rodri looked as good as ever when he came on. Well done to Brentford, they came and had a go.

Walker should have been moved on in the summer. I think we are hanging on to too many players and relying on our academy due to the 115 charges hanging over us. Transfers in reluctant to join

Certainly looks that way IB. Stones is another. We have seen his best years and is only now going to decline
