Why wasn’t a foul given against Martinelli for pushing Ederson to the ground before the first goal.

Ederson should rarely , if ever , be pushed to the ground by anyone - he’s a brick shit house and not a brick shite house ffs!!

Agree with this. I know we were missing Stones and Ake but Ederson is no midget. Keeper should come and flatten any cunt trying to obstruct. Poor from us as a unit and not as if arsenal don't do this often that we weren’t expecting it

I agree

But also, Ed needs to be much more aggressive in these moments

Always thoughr Hart was a billy big bollocks towards the end of his time here cosying up with the red shite players. He's gone up in my estimation after seeing that video. Take note 'Meeks' thats what we expect

Ederson had two right on him. He was not only obstructed ( foul) but also pushed to the ground. If he’d charged into them and knocked them over no doubt VAR or Oliver would have given a penalty and a red card.

We had it go our way when Ake scored at Spuds in the cup - clear block - its a tactic that arsenal are pushing the boundaries on. I've no issue with it providing we are afforded the same lenience in their box. Fucking defend your box its that simple.

I do have an issue with getting a big defender stood right in front of the goalie to prevent him moving. It’s obstruction and it’s against the rules. In this case there were two and Ederson was pushed over.

Law 12 regarding foul play specifically states that an indirect free kick should be awarded if a player "impedes the progress of an opponent without any contact being made" and also states the same indirect free kick should be awarded if a goalkeeper inside his area "controls the ball with the hand/arm for more than six seconds before releasing it". Arsenal have somehow built there whole game around these two laws not being disciplined by the refs to score from corners and then kill the game, but we're the bad guys.
