What they've failed to realise is that we've one of the smallest squads in the league but most of the players we have are so versatile, we can compete in every competition.

And they're sports journalists apparently

Thought Jack played quite well? Often the main link, created a good few chances that weren't taken.

I'm a jack fan but I couldn't believe he's created more chances than any other player in the whole of the champions league in the last two years.

That is mental.

And should put some people's minds at rest

Fuckin chiropractor said it to me last week. “Aayyyyyye but City have 14 players for every position or something stupid”. Imagine bringing in good players because other clubs aren’t allowed to do that for themselves are they.

joseph goebbels was the first to really make the most of propaganda.

But he'd be taking his hat off to the last ten years coverage of us

I didn't! Grealish rarely finds a man on a cross, they are often defected, his shooting skills are non existant., tonight Doku was in the same boat.
Happy for Nunes to get a goal, but on the whole another poor and wasteful evening

Pleased for doku- he needed that.

Disappointed in mcatee again.

Savinho is class. Seems to play on his own half the time the rest need to fix up and we need tk get haaland playing on his frequency.

Phil off it still.

Didn't think the fringe players were too bad. Mc Atee was ok considering he hasn't played a game. Its hard to play no competitive games and come in and have a blinder.

First goal was because of McAtee.

Nunes scored and proved what a prick he is by looking miserable and not celebrating. Obviously annoyed he’s barely played, even though he’s utter turd.

It's always difficult when we make mass changes the rhythm suffers. I like rhe idea of Lewis up top with Foden Grealish and McAtee players who can play in tight spaces. We've got pace on both sides whether from the start or as impact subs against packed defences. We will now see if Pep has a plann without Rodders will he adapt his style or will he put us in shackles

Agree, I've never rated him since he arrived. It's on him to prove he is worth a start in the team and he hasn't shown that hes up to the fight when given a chance and I'd say his training performances are the same. Seems a bit of a mard arse who needs his ego massaging. Now Rodders is out, youd think he'd smell an opportunity especially as KDB is absent

City youngsters don’t get many opportunities to shine. Need to grab opportunities when they come. Didn’t see the match but doesn’t sound as if many did. It’s a hard school. Let’s see who we get in the next round. Pep is not going to risk PL and CL for the Carabao Cup.

I went because i wanted to see some of the young players.
Very disappointed with McAtee and O'Reilly, Foden was poor in the false 9. Only ones who stood out were Rico who was everywhere and Savinho in his 45 minutes who was great.

Stones was ok until he lobbed it inexplicably into touch right near the end

Just watched the highlights. Any reason their equaliser was ruled out?

Haaland does that all the time

Saw the highlights. Incredible run and shot by Savio. City players slow to keep with him so he didn’t many options. He’s a great addition.

It was borderline alright, if it was Salah it would 100% be a goal.

50/50 for me as well. Imagine if Haaland had scored that to make it 3-2 v the Arsenal and it was ruled out. Be absolutely raging
