Suppose a draw fair but we lacked midfield authority, wonder why.

We can't score from corners and can't defend. We going to need a miracle this season.

We desperately needed a win today from aphysiological perspective. "We can't win without Rodri" watch the media dine out on that all week!!

Savio and Foden improved us. We had a decent go in the last half hour. I’m not too disappointed. Not an easy place to come to.

A bit too late for me. They should’ve been on earlier, same goes for Foden.

Good assessment, Walker cost us the goal but performed pretty well for him.

Off to Bratislava then Fulham at home. Hopefully Kevin and Ake will be back after the international break.

Antony was clever with the penalty. Not sure there was much there. A bit unlucky to concede.

We didn't deserve the 3 points and it's not an easy place to come to, so not too concerned tbh.

Morale boosters coming up in next few matches :D

Even Shearer is saying it was not a penalty. That was a travesty!

Newcastle is always a difficult game and we played well for the majority. Can’t win them all and we now know that the majority of teams will play the 5-4-1.

They had their time and scored from a subjective penalty. Many will drop points at their ground.

It all came down to that fuckup by Gondogan in the first half when he could have passed to Haaland.

I just do not understand why pep doesn’t make the change at half time - Gundo had his worse game for us in living memory , we could all see it but pep kept him on too fucking long .
I’m livid .

And sloppy by Walker to be slow pushing up. Played Antony onside.

Pep says Erling has ‘some knocks. See in coming days’. I’d be surprised if he isn’t on the plane to Bratislava.

Agree
Seemed to me that momentum carried Ederson into that 'collusion' (with was made a meal of). The only way to avoid that momentum was to not try to make a save.

or to hit the ball harder and higher to have a chance to score, but if we didnt fuck up in midfield they wouldnt have a run to our area and get a pen
