I thought that it has to be a foul to give a free kick or a penalty, did Ed foul Gordon ? No, I don’t even think there was contact, and how VAR decided that there was in a matter of seconds is truly baffling even sinister. I certainly didn’t see any angle that proved contact. I thought Newcastle played quite well for short durations in the game, created a couple of decent chances, and probably just about deserved a point, if we’d taken our great chances we’d have been out of sight by half time. I’m quite satisfied with yesterday it will take time to adjust but Foden firing on all cylinders is an absolute must if we are to win again. A big challenge for Pep too.

what is the issue with Foden? Is has he not recovered from illness, summer international performances or has Pep gone off him? Thought he would have been starting more frequently or at least getting more game time.
Didn't watch too much of the game yesterday and stopped completely after the penalty. Just getting a bit pissed off with it all at the moment. Pep gone back to strange team selections and us fucking up to let teams back in. As someone else posted, our defence at corners is non existant, against Arsenal we were shite, same against Newcastle. it is a fairly simple drill to practice surely but we manage to put fucking dwarfs up against 6 foot centre halfs and not track runners.
Nothing against Gundo, when he's having a good game he's decent but Pep seems fucking reluctant to hook his favourites and change things up until the last minute. We look fragile as fuck when ANY opposition get the ball

All I'd say is that I can remember us getting a pen when the player jumps to avoid a keeper lunging in madly, then consequently ends up flat on the floor, albeit by jumping

Interpretation. Some you win, some you lose. If the ref hadn't given it I don't think his decision would've been overuled
