Hopefully it is simply rumours and not anything substantial but we are likely to be starting a period of transition and rebuild with a number of players nearing the end of their contracts.

Be an interesting summer either way

I would rather buy a few now and play under Pep, than a shitload next summer.

100% agreed. There's no way I can see the club allowing the club to be exposed to the risk of a major rebuild AND change of manager at the same time.

That's not the way these guys roll, there will be succession planning in place for the every player and the manager, and even if we can't get our preferred Gundo/KDB/Bernardo long term replacements this summer, we will move on to 2nd on the list and keep going until we get one.

What we do now sets us up for the next 3-5 years, and I just don't see a scenario where the club would leave these things to run another year - I think we're going to see a lot of movement in late July, some perhaps surprising exits and big incomings.

These are my thoughts too. No way we do not have a sucession plan in place. IF Pep is going at rhe end of next season and I seriously doubt he is, we will be going after our transfer targets this summer

I think our next manager will be someone whose playing and managerial style resemble Pep's. If so, it would make sense to bring in more and younger Pep style players, so that the new gaffer (be it in one year or three) has a good foundation to build from.

I wonder if we are going to tap Arteta.
Hopefully not because he is a bellend.

Tearing up reading some of this -

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola joked he would reimburse fans after hearing they are set to display a new banner asking him to stay at the club.
The 1894 Group, who organise displays of flags and banners at Etihad Stadium, raised more than £1,000 in just 24 hours to create a banner.

It is due to be displayed in the South Stand on Saturday, when Fulham visit at 15:00 BST, and will read "Pep Guardiola, we want you to stay" in his native Catalan tongue.

"They have to bring me the bill, I have to pay for the banner," Guardiola said.
"What can I say? Thank you so much, I fell in love since the first day I arrived here, let’s see."

“I'm part of this club, not just the manager. I love this club and it will always be that way."

Bit like the Welsh, I was down by the pool overlooking the sea before sunset supping Mythos and there's 4 of them...

Mum and Dad with son/inlaw and daughter/inlaw..

At first i thought they're strong accents, but nope they were jabbering away in taffy or whatever they call it (here comes BIB to educate and chastise me).

Then they go talking about beer adverts, Heineken, Carlsberg of yester year, of course they switch English and then flip back again.

I then got to thinking how many of them speak Welsh when at work, what about whatsapp do Apple and Android have their language or do they have to use English.

I think the ratio is about 1 in 5 that are Welsh speakers, it more of a rural than city thing, I hear it now and again in Swansea. I was born in Stoke and moved to North Wales near Dolgellau in 1966 and when me and my siblings went to primary school none of the kids spoke English……we all learned Welsh pretty quickly. Enjoy your hols.

Not arsed if he stays or goes. Greatest ever manager whose football magic is wearing thin. Will he go or stay, tired of the bollocks. He's waiting for the 115 outcome. Say one way or the other or fuck off

I was the only one out of my close group of friends that didn't go to a Welsh-language school. By the age of 15, all of them had switched to English for interactions between each other, and only really used Welsh to talk to each others' parents (but not usually to their own, oddly) or to younger kids. Over the past few years, a few of them have started using Welsh more, partly because they get more privileges at work for being able to use it, and partly because a fair few of their friends have kids, and they're encouraged to speak Welsh around them.

Even when we were younger, conversations would drift in-and-out of Welsh in a way I thought was really odd at the time: one word that was better to describe something in one language was fitted into a sentence, and then it would switch to that language, then back when another word from the other language was more opportune. However, that happens with me and my neighbours in exactly the same way these days: we switch between English, Bosnian/Serbian and German, depending on how a word leads us. I noticed a perfect example of this last night, when we were talking in Serbian about my neighbour (whose job is normally in German) having to speak English this week with some clients. She mentioned the word 'seamless' doesn't have a direct Serbian correlation, but is exactly the same as the German 'nahtlose', and then just carried on the conversation in German for the next minute or two, before switching to Serbian again.

Sober yesterday, sober this morning, just fed up with the stay or go bollocks. Equally although i think Fulham are a decent outfit, they are nowhere near as Pep makes out in his post match 'why were we shit' conference. His tactics yesterday were poor, all based around us having the ball, turns to shit when its turned over
