I get what you’re saying, but at the same time this is a guy that didn’t have to come to City, he could have gone to any club in the world and earned the same amount of money.

He’s been at City for longer than any other club he’s managed. Let’s not forget he could have packed it in during COVID when he was stuck in Manchester while his mum died. His family has also basically fucked him off and moved back to Spain while he’s in Manchester and he’s still stuck it out and extended.

The mental strain of those seasons against Liverpool must do some damage as well, they did to us and we’re fans.

How's his magic wearing thin. We were on for a treble again until April, we're unbeaten in the PL in 2024. We've been missing the best player in the world all season and other than a pen that should have been overturned at Newcastle and the ref cocking up with Arsenal's 1st goal we'd be on maximum points.
We were shit against Fulham and got away with it, it happens. Arsenal were losing against the bottom club on Saturday who also hit the woodwork about 3 times.

I take it you like the tippy tappy boring build up, conceding goals on the counter, 2 shots 2 goals from any standard of opposition? We're on the wane only the blind can't see it. We've suffered injuries before, Pep is responsible for the squad he's got - and plays. His use of subs is poor, and now he's going all defensive. Needs to coach his own team not the likes of Traore

Still doesn't answer the magic wearing thin. We scored 3 on Saturday with the tippy tappy boring build up and playing shit. We're the top scorers in the league at the minute btw.

KDB can play 45 mins max, any more and he's fucked.
Jack can play 95 mins but rarely can you say he is superb and worth every penny. £30 M too much

We’re missing Rodri and Kevin. That’s huge. Both back and we’d be a different team. Clearly some rebuilding is needed, maybe starting in January given Rodri’s injury. Walker Kevin Bernardo Kovacic Gundogan all in their 30s.

As for Pep staying two thumbs up from me. If his departure is announced before Xmas it will be seen as him disappearing before judgement day on the PL charges and leaving someone else to pick up whatever pieces there are. Another year making 10 in all would solve that and is probably the most we can hope for. Txiki apparently going at the same time so Khaldoun will be under pressure to get two appointments right.

Not 100% certain he is going to extend. The complete lack of activity in the summer was not a good sign, and as expected by many, it came back to haunt us. Now were under pressure to do business in Jan, that is not east any normal Jan window but even harder with an uncommitted manager and the legal bullshit surrounding the club.
It does feel like were at a crossroads, Big year ahead.

I know it’s only Twitter or X but rumours are flying of a 2 year extension for Pep

Yeah ,they must have seen the way Bayern fell apart at the end last night. Vince failed to do the obvious and shut up shop. kept going for a fourth and Boom
Eintract get the equaliser on a break away in the dying moments.

Vince won't be managing City. Besides, apart from retiring from the game , where is Pep going to go now that he rules the roost in the PL and English football?

He might go to the US for a season or two or manage Brazil. He’ll never manage Spain obviously.

I would doubt that. When he leaves us he will probably take a break from the game.

Im surprised by that really. It'll be all four of the big leagues managed in and presumably conquered. The chance to revive the fortunes of one of the sleeping giants of European football must surely be a temptation?

Saw something that Txiki is leaving in the summer.
Might be a hint Pep is not staying. :(
