Nice analogy on BM.

Masters took his car in for an MOT and they found a dead body in the boot.
Masters now being done for murder but is boasting his car passed it's MOT first time.

I always suspected that there must have been a smoking gun in terms of an email, but who would have thought that one club would be so fucking stupid to point the finger at 'the gulf region' just days after the Newcastle takeover. Clearly doing that in the open shows just how much the Americans thought they could get away with it. My money is 100% on Arsenal being the ones behind it all.

Yet despite the clearly discriminatory basis and timing of the vote being called, it's interesting the panel didn't believe the PSR amendments were discriminatory/aimed at the gulf owned clubs, but the optics of that are BAD for the PL.

Although most of City's allegations were rejected, the seismic nature of the issue around shareholder loans (and the fact that the clubs who started all this are amongst those who have just fucked themselves in that regard (Arsenal - $238m) ) is fucking brilliant.

Geordie acquaintance of mine seems to think the "gulf region" email was from spuds.

I bet we can get someone from the Moss Side to confirm this , surely ? City have always been multi culti cosmopolitans.

Times also running the story the PL will call an emergency meeting to discuss rule changes. No doubt certain clubs will want an amnesty but shareholder loans on FMV bound to be included in the changes.

For Masters , is it touching cloth ?

It's halfway down his trousers and starting to fill his socks

A little bit liquidy then .

Chelsea Newcastle Forest Everton gave evidence for City.

Arsenal Tottenham United Liverpool Brighton and West Ham gave evidence for the Premier League.

Love the response from a west ham fan to this post - dear man city fans never confuse our shithouse owners with us fans - we know where its at. Congratulations

In footballing terms, it feels very much like a Manchester City victory, with the Premier League scoring a consolation goal. I say consolation goal as the Tribunal did not appear to find that the principle of having associated party transactions (APT) in and itself to be unlawful. In other words, the aim of the principle regulating APT is fine. The issue for the Premier League is that both of its attempts to date to bring in rules on the subject have been found to be unlawful.

best explanation i've seen

Man City General Counsel Simon Cliff has fired off a letter to all PL Clubs dismissing the PL’s statement as very misleading and warning against a rushed process to change the rules.

This is fantastic.

A clear statement that, at least on this occasion, we're not allowing you to spin it.

I love it

I'm not for giving them fair warnings- we should have just left it. They've had three weeks to meet in the bogs and come up with a plan

City have now sent an email to all PL clubs and the PL advising them of the outcome and commenting essentially that yesterdays comments from the PL were bullshit. DING DING round 2

I reckon this will be the end of the Prem. 100% the end for Masters, but I think if we get enough clubs on side the Prem will be fucked off

The red shite's will go after him and will want the PL to write off the legal costs from their PSR figures. This ends in a super league one way or another
