Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Once again I waited as long as I could to get these comments, but there is no real content here. I have never enjoyed watching Wolves recently, they are always so negative, and I don’t expect having home advantage will change this afternoon. Surely three points are in order today?

COME ON CITY!!!

Referee: Chris Kavanagh
Assistants: Constantine Hatzidakis, Richard West
Fourth official: Tom Bramall
VAR: Stuart Attwell
Assistant VAR: Marc Perry

Team Selection

Johnstone

Semedo Dawson Toti

Lima Doyle André J Gomes Ait-Nouri

Cunha Strand Larsen

And the rest…

City have conceded at least one in all but one PL game this season. They haven’t got into top gear like they do every spring and Rodri is missing. The worst possible approach is to have no attacking threat so I’d like to see Forbs start. He almost certainly won’t as GO will see this as damage limitation. He knows only a big defeat will put his position in jeopardy and that will be his sole goal. Frankly if it gets to a point where City are ahead by two I hope they batter us and who knows, it could just be the final nail in GOs coffin.

I’m going full on demolition job, 6-0 City inside the first 45 mins…We won’t lay a glove on em.

We will lose, but give a good enough account of ourselves to delay the inevitable when Man City decide to play the whole second half in second gear - arguably the worst possible outcome.

GON needs to be pragmatic and revert to a back 5, of course! If he starts with 4 I will probably self combust! Then he needs to be brave, show some balls, and drop one of Lemina or Joao Gomes, bringing in Doyle to provide something a bit different in midfield. Finally, start Forbs again! Then I think we'll probably only lose by 3 or 4 goals!

Teams will beat city at home now Rodri is out…It’s still a tough ask - but any other team would pick up a point minimum against at them this weekend whilst they adapt.

Bloody hell, Sutton is predicting 6-1 Man City on BBC. I don't think I've ever seen such a thumping predicted before. I mean, it's perfectly reasonable and hard to argue against, but I'm still surprised... Lambs to the slaughter.

Iv got a feeling city will score within 10 mins and it could get quite nasty

Harland hat trick again against us. He must have scored a few playing Wolves - the space he'll get if we play 4 at the back will have two time zones on for a player of his ability.

I don't think it will be an absolute mauling so I'll go with just 0-6…If Haaland cannot find space then we'll certainly find it for him.

Not looking forward to this at all, we all know what's potentially coming, even with 5 at the back, hopefully it's the catalyst for change if the worst does happen.

Cannot remember when I have felt so down about the club.
The manager and the players are partly to blame but......
Shi and Fosun have not really backed O'Neil after last seasons.1 win in our last 10 games.
FOSUN SHOULD PUT UP OR SELL UP
it is a humungous
disgrace and our owners are responsible !!

Well there's only 1 unbeaten team in the prem, so it's gotta b written In the stars for a Wolves win tomorrow—surely

We’re going to lose.

I know I am old school but I still hate it when people seem to think we are going to score six. I think it’s bad form, I expect Wolves to put up a gritty defensive display with a back five. So any win will do for me, with no injuries of course.

Me too HDS copped the right hump when I saw Suttons prediction and immediately thought this would end as a draw, regardless of how shit they are & anchored to the relegation zone. Cunts will kick shit out of us, protected by the the ref and then score a very questionable goal.

I hate playing shit teams like this.
