And Promptly hand it over to Messi who wins it for being the bestest ever player , playing for a team 5% owned by goldenballs.

With or without those two little ragettes, i hope they haven't flown over today to Züri. It's closed. Even the traffic lights are switched to yellow blinking. Even the Kebab shops on Langstrasse are cleaning their rotiseries.

If Rodri doesn’t win it then it’s 100% confirmation that the award is a joke. Not that we needed more proof.

Pic going round of the final tally saying Vini Jr. won, with Rodri in 2nd. Kane 5th and Haaland 6th. Slightly suspicious formatting for a 'legit' document, though (different spaces and fonts).

Reports of leaks confirming Vinny Jr has the trophy. Rodri stands out as a clear winner, so i don't see how this can be legit. However, i also believe football is bent, so they'll keep it away from a City player if they can

Makes zero sense when Foden’s stats were even better than Vini Jr for last season. Just pathetic.

Rodri’s come in a touch. 9/2. Still Vinicius is a heavy favourite.

Reason number 636378 to keep bints like this away from men’s football -
European football journalist and broadcaster Mina Rzouki: "Why would you give it to Rodri?
"I understand he has had a great season and been the difference-maker for Manchester City. But he wasn't the standout player for Spain.
"Vinicius Jr made a difference in every important match in the Champions League, so surely you should go for him. He was the difference between them winning and losing.
"Rodri was just a part of a great team.”
The difference maker for City….just part of a great team. Make it make sense.

She’s clearly unaware that Rodri was player of the euros: presumably straightforward logic implies he was Spain’s best player.

Romano is saying Rodders going to win it.
Come on you crate. Make it happen!
Couldn't think of a player who deserves it more, to be honest.

https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1850901468045262966Well well well. Brilliant if true. Real entourage en masse going to boycott the ceremony because they are convinced Vinicius won’t get it.
