They shit the bed against us 20 years ago in FA cup, also at theirs....

SWP & Macken, can't remember who scored the others...

Distin header and a Bosvelt deflected shot

Was it Bosvelt or Tarnat that once scored a rocket of free kick?

Tarnat at Blackburn. He took the free kick that Distin scored from at Spurs.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

If we were Palace, Brentford or any other statndard team we'd have had peppered that goal in the last few minutes.

Best chance gone now, we won't have another. Good night Vienna. Spurs should have scored 6

McAtee, Reilly, Wright, Not whats required i'm afraid.

Palmer. Delap, Harwood Bellis all better prospects .

Could Pep get results in the conference league? I'm beginning to think he can't. Needs big money signings and lots of them.

Good luck Spurs, far better value for money. If Son had been playing we would have shipped 8 or 9

It’s a fair point, if they don’t give a fuck for this cup, they should at least subsidies the cost of going to the match,

Good effort all in all. Ortega poor on the second goal. McAtee, sorry pep but I just don't see it. Nunes very good again. Biggest thing for me was seeing the youth. I genuinely think O'Reilly has it and if he keeps his head unwobbled might be a good replacement for rodri. What I did like from the young boys was how direct they were. Rico, wright, O'Reilly and the other kid who came on late (Simpson?), all we're playing nice sharp direct passes through the middle instead of fannying about side to side. Good mentality that and one we've been missing for a while. A shame no cunt can shoot for shit, but I'm not too disheartened by that performance.

Rico is definitely not a right back though. Tenacious little fucker but his brain wanders too much for that job. Was excellent when moved permanently into a midfield link.

Our conversion rate for months has been shocking. Our our conversion from possession to chances is even worse. Good teams that play us just sit back , conserve energy and then fuck us when they have the ball, - and to be honest the City fans i've spoken to are completely bored by our style of football.

It's a game I don't think any of us were going to cry about losing.

Some good performances by the younger players and Nunes was good again.

Before Mase comes at me, I know it's only a few games but he's no longer kalvin phillips' pal

The youth that came on in the second half was a result of Pep realising he didn't want to risk his big name players. Sorry but Kovetic and Gvardiol should have been on from the start. Foden coming off was a fuck up by the manager, as Savinho was injured already .
McAtee did nothing, Wright was enthusiastic but out of his depth, If people like to see youth go and watch the under 21's .
Team selection, tactics and individual performances were poor,
Nunes and Kovetic were our best players

Thought we played well enough especially considering the team we finished the game with.
The lad Simpson Pusey looked good when he came on, o reilly grew into it, Wright decent. Mc Atee disappointed me.
The prodigal son, his best days are behind him.
Hopefully savio isn't too bad bit he didn't look good.

I think Akanji, Savinho & possibly Gvardiol joining Jack, Dok, KDB & Walker is a very dark cloud - team for Saturday picks itself at least
Ederson
Lewis Stones Dias Ake
Silva, Kovacic, Gundogan
Foden, Haaland, Nunes

Bench - Moreno + EDS

and Gundo should never have been brought back as a player. He is woefully off the pace. Spurs wanted it more simple as

We fucked up not replacing Alvarez, no recognised no2 striker. Our main squad is paper thin. We miss KDB which is worrying Foden needs to get in the middle and demand the ball as he's the only one who can thread a ball through.
Get the cheque out in the winter window and buy some quality.

I said on Saturday at halftime, I think I’m actually starting to like Nunes. He then went back to being Nunes second half and got taken off  Definitely not Kalvin Phillips and there’s something there with him. I saw a video last week where he was asked by an 8 year old how to improve skill and he replied that at 8 you should just be enjoying your football - I liked that.

Theres some OTT bollocks on here  “Gundo is shite” “Pep isn’t arsed” fuck me we can’t win every game.

We have Jack, Kev, Doku, Rodri, Bobb, Akanji injured and we’re not playing our Number 1 keeper. Then Savio goes off injured too. It’s always going to be tough.

We needed a wake up call and hopefully this is it.
