Maybe we need a class striker who’s in his 30s and is happy to play second fiddle to Haaland. We’ve three wide men who contribute virtually no goals. Gundogan stealing in and scoring is a distant memory. Foden’s goals have completely dried up. Haaland is very hit and miss in front of goal but we need to look at other players too.

Not sure we’ll get them both in the January window! Can we get Ederson or Zubimendi? Will we even try or argue it’s all too difficult to do anything in January. If that’s the case top four is not remotely guaranteed. Nor is top 8 in the Champions League. PSG away will be no cinch in January.

Says it all.
A quite horrendous stat. And on current form, one which isn't going to get much better anytime soon

Neither of whom will plug the big fuck off gap through the centre of the pitch when we are camped in oppos half and turn the ball over. Could argue that maybe we score adding either of them and they'd give us legs in the middle but so would mcatee and nunes and pep seems reluctant to trust either.
Big big week ahead
