Worst possible time to play them. We rarely get a result at Anfield. Considering the state of our team and manager, we'll get absolutely stuffed. Still thinking about last nights result. It was a farce. But as one fan posted, we ended a 5 game losing streak

I'd almost take not turning up and a mandatory 3-0

Though seriously, this could actually be a good fixture. We never do well there regardless of how good we are or have been playing. And make no mistake, the vast majority of the dressing room will be hurting after the recent run and will be desperate to make amends. If the roles were reversed and we were 8 points clear with the dippers on a losing streak I still wouldn't be confident so in a way this is almost a game for nothing.

That said currently I am fearful of what might happen

6-1
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I think Pep will struggles to veer from his principles, he needs to be pragmatic otherwise we are in for a thumping.
I have niggly feeling we might fluke a result against all odds.

First game in ages we're underdogs. 4/1 to win apparently. Could make a few quid.

It feels like impending doom, a combination of poor planning, injuries, loss of form & players who give the impression they don’t give a fuck. Stones, Walker, Grealish should never play again, they are not the guys who will give their all for the club. That’s what is needed, players who can dig in & grind out a result. Pep is responsible for quite a bit of the shit we are in, I don’t give a flying fuck what anybody says, letting Palmer go was the fuck up of the century. I don’t buy all the he wanted to go bullshit, it was poorly managed. Other Young players who are better than what we are left with were let go for next to fuck all. Not playing a settled back line is another monumental fuck up. Nobody knows what our best defence is because because we don’t have one. We will all keep supporting City whatever happens & we know we cannot keep winning the PL every year, but, the fall from grace is going to be appalling if action is not taken in January. The other issue with Pep is the constant “players are tired” schtick, they fucking will be if you keep telling them, it’s such a self fulfilling prophecy.
The MSM are already rejoicing the terrible run we are on, at least the 115 narrative is being dialled down for a while. Next up dippers, we already have a disgraceful record against these cunts. We collectively shit ourself, about time we showed some balls & pride fo the club. I can take losses so long as we have given everything, so come on City show some fucking guts & go for it. I have watched the dippers & yes they are getting results, but they are not perfect, ask Forest who beat them.

Agree with most of that HDS but not about Grealish. Last night he was booted to fuck and just got on with it. Hit the bar in the last minute. Can tell he wants it. Others I agree with.

Nothing went right for him but he’s up for it. He must start on Sunday as must Nunes.

Yeah, you are probably right, but I just got it in my head he was dodging playing, it’s in the interest of all that he is focused on the job.

Never thought I’d say this, but I agree RE: Nunes. He worked hard. That’s what we need at the moment. Once everyone is fit and purring he’s not near the quality that should be starting. But at the moment he needs to start.

Not the same as an onsong Phil and Kev.
Certainly more than Bern and Jack over the last few months.
I supported Grealish for ages, thought he was fantastic in the treble season. Last season he was more like season 1 with us and last night he did what Jack does. Keeps the ball, wins fouls but doesn't beat his man and offers very little going forward.
Bern was worse last night and has been poor all season both wide and in the middle and last night offered nothing going forward.
One quality cross all night and that was Nunes for the 3rd goal.

Absolutely no way Nunes has shown anymore quality in the last month than Bern or Grealish when they’re on top form.

Fuck me we’ve been absolutely terrible and Nunes has done well. Hes not been stand out in terms of quality.

i didn't say when they're on top form.
I said more than both of them this season as they've both been terrible

I did. That was my point. Nunes is hitting his top level now, which is well below Bern or Grealish when they’re at top level.

Fuck me if Nunes is our saviour, we might as well write off our season now. How did we end up buying him, just how? All the talent in the world
