No, can't be. Mate just told me he's not had a beer for six weeks.

Worst run of losses since Pearce .

But Pearce didn’t spend a billion quid .

He really is brain dead for a defender of his age to not be able to see danger and basics is criminal. His pace got him out of messes previously but that’s going and he brings nothing else. Can’t defend, can cross, we would be lucky get someone take him on for free and off wage bill in summer.

How the fuck has it come to this. I think any organised PL team will beat us at the state we are in. What gets me is teams with lesser players have put up a more determined & effective effort than we did today. Pep is inflexible & stubborn, in runs like this teams usually go back to basics & play a direct game. We know that won’t happen with Pep. I don’t know where our next win is coming from.

Tbf Hazy, the losing run is doing that on its own. Time to earn your substantial wage. Again, today, poor use of substitutes the game had gone when he made changes. Gundo in the middle against that scouse midfield - really?? I switched off at ht. I will say its not all on Pep tho tactics aside, there are a lot of soft cunts out there not many leaders - if any. We are going to have to buy our way out of trouble and it's going to need at least 3 decent players we won't be able to do that in January

I’m sure mate, we will be flying again. We are all venting, and Carl will be doing back flips.. I’m not happy it’s been shite, I said sat there v Fulham thinking we are in for a long season, they could have buried us. Losing today it’s normal. Onwards.

Wow can't believe ur coming out with that we've had a fantastic run over the yrs and with no real dip in form!! It had to come at some point.
The heirachy should have gone all out in the summer so their partly to blame, pep has to also take flak but those spineless twats on the pitch should be the ones to cop it.
This 115 is a huge shadow over the club and gut feeling is were gonna cop a 2-300 mil fine which makes sense why we haven't gone a brought in quality.

He looks behind him and sees Gakpo on the edge of the area before any cross comes in . It is unforgivable that he chose not to try and get the ball as it comes across. Even if he kicks it out for a corner . Then he looks completely surprised after the tap in. Bench time for him.

First twenty minutes it was pathetic from our perspective. Just stood back and let them play while we just give the ball away easily and repeatedly. Like a scared rabbit in the car headlights.

Then box as strangely, we suddenly decided to challenge and press and be physical and we got back into the game.

Great. Yes.

But on the other hand, it just revealed how underpowered we have been performing recently and not pressing, not challenging and not competing physically. Shameful.

We need to wake up, get our motivation to win back and work for each other and to win every loose ball. Then we might be able to compete for a trophy this season; FA Cup or CL.

We can do that and I want to see the team turn the tide starting from our next game. Pride with determination.

We had our best spell of physicality when all the midgets were on together - Phil, Rico, Bernie, Doku & Savinho. Gundo & Nunes again way off what we needed.

City have been very unlucky with injuries for sure. I worry that Pep thinks getting all his players fit and firing is normal though. Injuries are part of football and have to be managed. Our squad looks short. We need to invest and should have done so sooner. Time for the Club to buy at least one class midfielder in January. Of course next summer we need to ship out a couple and bring in a couple but let’s start straightaway.

To make matters worse, 8 fans in the city away end all in barcelona shirts. Kicking off on bluemoon after proper fans couldnt get a ticket, shambles! When salah scored his pen loads in city end with phones out videoing it clearly tourists. As shambolic as the team today.

As you say Mase very frustrating that Kev didn’t get on the pitch till it was too late. I suppose he’s terrified of losing him for 8 weeks by risking him earlier. At 1-0 we weren’t out of it and playing better but lacked Kev’s creativity. I hope he gets more minutes against Forest. Come on Pep humour us!
