Guaranteed bench next game then

Remember who we played today.... don't get me wrong, I like the lad and I am sure we he will be part of our plans.... but..

But.. he was head and shoulder above Gundo, Foden and Kova today against the same opponents. All those players start regularly

Gundo goes without saying, a mistake to bring back on reflection, if Foden had 90 minutes against these it could be a different story and Kova was a later sub so unfair to compare if you're being honest.

Kova fucked up twice when he came on. More than McAtee the whole game.

McAtee should be exempt from any finishing thread after that performance.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Was really really impressed with O’Reilly. Was harsh to judge him within the first ten minutes. Grew into the game and should be getting time in midfield in place of Gundo.

You're beginning to sound like st Austell John picking on two mistakes by an individual in a game that we won comfortably.

Great win, good confidence booster for the lads and great to see some of the kids showing their skill.

Onto Brentford.

Big News from Peps Press Confreence. Walker spoke to Txiki and said he wanted to explore options to play overseas which is why he wasn’t in the squad today. Didn’t sound like Pep was détermined to persuadé him to stay. Full of praise for McAtee but said he could have played better in the first half.

With his off the field activities I’d say he’ll be doing life in a Saudi prison within no time!

You do know who deals with transfers at the club right?

Pep repeatedly tells us he doesn't deal with ins and outs, so no surprise to anyone really.

That said, it's a welcomed decision that I doubt anyone here is gutted about.

I am generally one to jettison a player that has served us well but, I think we all agree with this one. We must get a replacement though, we cannot rely on Rico and others to fill in.
