Pep did say yesterday’s that the players were too nice. And then went on to imply the club are too nice as well (specifically mentioned with the Premier League) but he has a point.

We’re too nice in the transfer market and get done over constantly.

Before Pep came along and after Mancini was shown the door, i always fancied that Diego Simeone was a manager i'd like to see at City. Still think he would be better than Pep

Better than a treble 4 in a row 100 points…… I like Simeone as well TBF. He will be in the conversation some day.

For me add Guehi from Palace it would be great window. He is better than any of ours imho. He is also not made of glass..

Should have bought Guehi a proven premier league defender for the same money as the 2 kids who may be good enough to play for us in a couple of years

He'd have to go some to be better. Maybe 101 points, the domestic treble the same season as the treble.
Simeone is toxic, saw that in our battles against them the other year. The Argentinian version of Big Sam in playing style as well.

We need to cut all ties with Chelsea and refuse to deal with them for the foreseeable future.

The way they do business stinks. Leave bidding for kids until the final day then throw a bid in. It means the club aren’t expecting it and are in the back foot and the player is rushed into making a decision. They’re not stupid, they’re sly. I’m 100% sure if they’d bid for Palmer at the start of the window he’d still be here. The club didn’t wanna sell and Palmer didn’t wanna go - Pep spat his dummy out. Same with this o’Reilly lad, they’ve got the club on the back foot. O’reilly’s agent might have spoken with Chelsea and had his head turned and now they’re the only club, no other clubs have time to bid.

Cunts.

Just for the sake of it, based on his incident with Beckham, Simeone will never make it in England.

He has been there 14 years and is the worlds best paid manager...took Atletico from being shite to breaking up the RM / Barcelona monopoly and has stayed there..won plenty of trophies and his players die on the pitch for him in just about every game...regardless of how big shithouses we think of them.

Simeone gets more out of his players than anyone else.

When you say plenty of trophies. He's won Europa twice which means he didn't qualify for the Champions League or failed in the group stage. He's won 2 major trophies in 14 years

Pep was superb, but he isn't that anymore. He's also lost a few of his backroom that helped him become great. Simeone wouldn't put a team out that Pep has done this season and he'd set up our players to defend. Big Sam was half decent as a player, better as a manager, but Simeone is class.

See Palace have allegedly turned down £70m from Spurs for Guehi. I say allegedly as this is the sort of shit that the rags used to pull every summer in an attempt to appease the fans into thinking they were bidding for players, when they actually had zero intention of signing anyone.

And why would Palace turn down that money for a guy with only 18m left on his contract? Surely they were burned by Zaha a couple of years ago and wouldn’t want a repeat?

He would set them up to defend. He'd also bore us to tears, only conceded 14 goals this season but only scored 30 something. Like the Spanish Burnley. Played us in the CL a few years ago and never looked like scoring despite Griezman, Suarez, etc in the 2 legs
