This performance has been a disgrace today. Poor pace on that pass from KDB to try and get Sav in.

A wins a win.

Sometimes in these Cup ties you get games like this. If we’d just not been utter shit all season then we’d be able to take it easily.

I want to say that will do, but we are a horror show.

Scouse and Madrid will take our skin.

Pep’s clueless this season - he has to be one of the worst performing managers in Europe this season - has to be.

Job done. The two new CBs looked decent. Rico’s injury a big worry. Was it a precautionary substitution. Back to the Etihad for Madrid. Dias will surely start.

It is Mase, but let's not get away from the fact that we were complete and utter garbage in the last third, far too slow and lacked invention.
We should be able to dominate and destroy this sort of team

The only, and I mean only good thing about that game was the second goal and thus the result. Fucking woeful and god help us against Madrid.

How does Pep pick these team? Is it the first eleven to get out of the fucking coach? Sometimes they look like they have never met before

Positives
- We’re through to the next round
- Minutes for Dias
- Khusanov
- I thought Rico had a good game

Negatives
- Too many players have lost it - Gundo, Jack
- McAtee and Savio were both ghosts
- Ortega is a terrible goalkeeper. He’s had one good game for us
- Nico G looks soft as shit and is now injured
