Did anyone (in the universe) manage to predict that City line up? Pep's mind is an enigma.

That said, we're one nil up. Could've been bad if Madrid had their shooting boots on, though.

Yes I think Akanjilooks in difficulties. Stones drops back and either Kovacic or Nico to come on? We had to do a lot of defending and by and large did so well but they are dangerous. Obviously would love a second goal. Unlucky for Grealish to come off who looked decent. Phil seems in the mood though.

Feel we're lacking something in midfield. Would prefer Kova on, or even nico but I haven't a clue who I'd bring off as they've all been mint. Maybe Bernie?

Akanji has been ripped apart on the right but he's not a right back, with his skillset he's done well but he's a risk in terms of pace. I'd like to see the Uzbeki lad on but he's a whole different risk.
