Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

1. CHAMPIONS League and it’s still teams finishing 4th (possibly 5th this season) that get into it.
2. I couldn’t give a toss about seeing Club Brugge vs Atalanta or Benfica vs Monaco. How many on here watched those games last night?
3. Just have a competition where the Champions of each league compete and it’s a straight knockout. More exciting and better teams than fuckin Aston Villa (good luck tonight btw).

The whole competition is a joke.

Agree on all that. It should be the champions only, hence the name. Although Club Brugge are the reigning champions so would have every right to be in it, and progress further than us.

It’s likely going to be won by a team that finished 3rd in their league last season. It’s all about the Club World Cup for me now

And when that comes around we'll be moaning like fuck about the meaningless extra games tagged onto the end of the season and how our players should not be in it because of injury.

Though no doubt some will blame Pep.

Teams qualify over a 4 year period. It's nothing to do with recent performance.

Ederson Khusanov Stones Dias Gvardiol Nico Gundogan Bernardo Savinho Marmoush Foden. No Haaland because of his knee I presume. Khusanov at RB or possibly Stones at RB No KdB kept back for second half I suppose. Haaland’s absence obviously a huge blow,
