Indianablue wrote:In reality, Pep has had this flaw since he came. Its just that he has had some bloody good players to cover it up. LB has been an issue for a few seasons. Granted Mendy partying with tarts didn't help but neither has putting in Bernardo or converting Gvardiol, but he is getting better. He's now at it at RB. The whole desire line up is unsettled and he's swapping keepers for fun. He's always had a weakness for Gundo. Bought him originally injured then took 3 seasons of poor starts for him to do something. Only had 1 decent season when he scored the number of goals he should have. When he left his performances were slowing down. He did nothing in Spain and came back because Pep was panicking. As one pundit said about our recent Madrid collapse, Pep picked a side relying on misplaced belief in his old guard. New signings didn't get a look in. To me that shows a lack of confidence or ability to try something or someone new. His signings are moulded into his old way or style of playing, even pushing them away from the qualities that made them attractive. How many players have been messed with, scared off, yet done well at other clubs. Pep was once a leader, now, too frightened to be effective. Haaland will be off if we don't qualify for next year's CL, old guard will leave. The young players that remain are good enough to make another great team but Pep is not the man to do it. - unless he changes his style of playing. Boring highline tippy tappy has had its day
*Stupot just self combusted *
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Bought as a squad player, was needed for more, perhaps overindulged, but he'll be happy on the bench.

How is Haaland. Not a good look, clutching his knee?. Ligament? Cartilage or just twisted it?

Fingers crossed
But sometimes the innocuous looking knocks are the worst.

A quote straight off MOTD. In slow motion he looked to have jarred it , probably stretched his ACL.
As per usual Pep isn't giving anything away. He won't be fit for Madrid. If Pep risks him and he has to come off, that will be home done for a few games at least. Can't risk knees

Absolutely nothing wrong with Haaland. He was running around after the final whistle shaking hands with people. Talk of ACL’s is fuckin stupid.

Wouldn't be too sure Mase, he went down like a sack of shit. He did something to that knee, hopefully he just stretched his ligaments and not got a tear

Stones on a rinse repeat cycle with the physio dept. Off for another rest, god I bet he's really really angry now. One of the most injury prone players we have had. Ake is another that's catching him up and Doku likes a rest as well.
Interesting that Haaland didn't play, didn't shift his arse off the bench. Should have been left at home

Reminds me a bit of Sane but he hasn't achieved anywhere near as much as he did.... Doku has his head turned over a couple of good appearances, more show boaty than achieving, if that makes sense..

At least when Sanè turned it on he did it against top opposition - I remember that Liverpool game well!

Would love to see how Barcelona are going to pay for Doku.
I have a feeling that with Viana we are not going to give them any favours like we used too.

This Barca nonsense was denied by Doku or his agent as I recall.

It will be interesting to see how that goes but we still have two of the three amigos so I'm not expecting things to change. It will not surprise me when Bernie rocks up there this summer although you could argue based on this season alone, who is doing who the favour

Would love Bern to actually go there this summer. Gets rid of a shite player and his Mrs finally gets her wish

As their best mates with the Gundos, you'd think Gundo would talk him down. Don't know if he's out of contract we should not be giving him away though if not
