I think Palace was Brighton's closest club in the football league for many years...

In what world? Were Palace based outside of London? Only got to look at Millwall today - 8 miles between Palace and Millwall

Did I say Brighton was Palace's closest club? It's a 'one-way derby', if you understand what I mean.

So it’s not a derby then? They’re not based in the same City. Just a rivalry..

So two teams from different cities can't have a real derby, you reckon? Like Manchester and Salford, for example?

Yes they can, Derby vs Notts Forest / County is a derby.

It's refered to as the A23 derby across the media, the A23 being the road between London and Brighton, been called that for quite a while. Palace being the closest club to the London end of the road.

That all said and done, Jonathan Pearce is still an annoying wanker.

Unhappy seeing Bournemouth go through, horrible wind up cunts

Unhappy about the Millwall keeper getting sent off for a perfectly good challenge on the big snidey cunt Mateta. Keeper just won the ball and do what 99% of opposition fans have wanted to do .

Every minnow club going through have a chance of going all the way according to the TV pundits , meanwhile we were shit but won fortunately

You're off your head mate. Minority of 1!

Nearly took his head right off. The only mystery is that Oliver didn't see it in real time

Glad Reis got a run out but wholesale changes from the spuds win was playing with fire. Khus has had a whirlwind start but a good idea to leave him out to take everything in. What a start by the way. 2 or 3 changes was adequate. But the next round awaits us Preston at home will do.

Sarcasm lost on some people in terms of perfectly good challenge , it had a touch of Schumacher vs Battiston about it , but straight up honest opinion about Mateta. He's injured more players than i've had hot dinners - and i like my grub

Newcastle winner ruled out for offside. Dont need fucking VAR that was clearly offside . No probroblem with Gay Gordon being shown a red for handbagging the Brighton player . Should be a tasty 30 mins of ET

Great to watch when you aren't involved and already through.

Brighton took 1100 fans!? Plymouth 7800
