Yeah, this season is fucking awful, I realize we can’t win everything al the time, but the drop off in standard is quite remarkable, realistically we are lucky to be challenging for Wenga trophy

Cue the penalty
a) to get them back into the game or win it
b) to gift Salad more goals so the whole world can jizz over him and shoehorn him into the Ballon D’Or which he is nowhere near even if he gets 35 goals.

I am getting frustrated with football today, I remember watching City in the old second division & not feeling this bad, perhaps it’s my age, it’s not because we are crap either, but even in my early days there always seemed to be players that tried their best, I am not convinced that is the case today, they seem to act more like celebrities than sportsmen, again it might be me, but I am fucking fed up with it.

Agree.

Usually after a defeat it spoils my day. Just lately I’ve been ambivalent. And that worries me a bit. I’ve stopped watching football other than our games, primarily because of the cheating and manipulation of outcomes in games and ultimately the results that engineers.

I’m worried I may even not bother our games in a few years
