Taking them or saving them?

Haha, hopefully both.
Joke aside, he saved them all versus Slovenia at the Euros last summer.

Kalvin Phillips back to Leeds for £20m in the summer according to a Leeds source.
What a total fuck up of a transfer and the beginning of our shitty purchases.

Keep it quiet, if City can get 20 mill. Right now that is fantastic business.

It's better than him doing a Danny Mills and staying just to pick up the wages.
£20m back in the war chest and wage money for incoming.
Just need to draw a line under it.

Great, they'll splash it on another Nunes for 50m and ship out our academy players for 10m

Who is the lying cunt...PeP or Cole ?
Guardiola shrugged when asked whether it was a mistake to let Palmer move but said the 21-year-old wanted to leave the Etihad Stadium long before he joined Chelsea. "He's an exceptional player," Guardiola told a news conference.Apr 19, 2024

THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Sounds like Palmer regrets going to me - he brings it up in every interview.
We all know he asked to leave on loan and Pep said, “you can either stay or leave fully”. Pep’s admitted that. But I think it’s hurt both - Pep didn’t think Palmer would agree to leave and Palmer probably thought Pep wouldn’t let him leave.
It’s not worked out great for either party and if they could both turn back the clock I know both would make different decisions.

In this article Palmer doesn't say he didn't want to leave City.

At the end, it was the best for him.
He wouldn't have scored and played an European Championship final if he stayed here.

He’d just scored for us in the UEFA Super Cup final and Charity Shield.

He would have slotted into Mahrez's vacant role and although he wouldn't have played as much as he did at Chelsea he would have had significant game time. He would also have become an essential first teamer this season (but would probably be injured if he stayed).
He had a fantastic season last year , but deep down he will know he'd have been set up for more long term success if he stayed.

Ifs and buts, mate. Our records with kids is saying not. He didn't need a transition at Chelsea, he was ready in a few months.
Why didn't we see that, that's the question.

We sold Mahrez about a week before we sold Palmer - Pretty sure the plan was to play him last season. Our stupid and stubborn transfer policies to blame more than anything.

If that was the plan why did we sell him?
My two cents is he had a chat with Pep, he told him exactly what we suspect and he left.
