Though obviously it's a sad state of affairs when a bit part player is so loaded. Stories like this just accelerate the motion of football eating itself.
Difference being of course that I'll be on my job for next 35 years or so whereas he'll be finished in 10 years.
4m is WHOPPING price for house even for a footballer. Even the top top players in PremierLeague are worth 10-25m and that's just the very top players who have been earning top money for over 10 years. There are no guarantees he'll ever be in that brackett. In fact, I'd say it's highly unlikely.
