I moaned about Foden not getting minutes because he should’ve fucking played more, simple as that. And unlike you, I don’t sit here worshipping every Pep decision like he’s the fucking football pope!!
That was Silva’s farewell tour and it showed , but Foden was already outplaying him and then benched the following game That’s why most fans (not you, obviously) were pissed off watching him rot on the bench when he should have been on the pitch.
And just to back up my little rant - you can have this :
Pep even admitted after the season that he “should’ve played Foden more.”
So he was getting 30 games a season but he wasn't getting enough minutes.
Glad we've sorted that one out.
You constantly need educating don’t you ?
Classic Stupot logic:
“30 games = enough minutes” — as if coming on in the 88th minute when we’re 4–0 up somehow equals development time.
Let me fucking educate you, since basic context seems beyond you:
Foden in 2019/20
Premier League apps: 23
Minutes: 892
That’s 38 minutes per game — which includes a bunch of garbage-time cameos
9 starts out of 38 league games — while David Silva, aged 34, started 22
In your little world Foden was “getting games” — just not the kind that actually matter.
You’d fucking argue a traffic cone got fair treatment if it had baldy’s name on it.
Classic Carl Logic
" As for the Foden waited comment ??? he was getting 30 games a season by the time he was 19"
You're the one who said it in this thread.
Priceless
You have got this incredible talent for diving headfirst into technicalities while missing the entire fucking point.
Latching onto one fucking sentence, ignore the context, and declare victory like you’ve just cracked the Da Vinci Code.
Tiresome

I also believe it is embarrassing to request a smaller less effective squad because of an inability to manage the squad.

Your context was arguing with the poster who said his limited minutes worked with Foden and you were saying Foden played loads at that age.
You can spin it any way you like, we can all read what you said.

Whatever the argument regarding the slow intro of Foden, Palmer was used sparingly with us and apart from a few moments and a couple of goals i wasn't thinking he was a massive talent. However, i was not watching him in training dsy after day and savvy to his potential. Either Pep is not got at spotting talent when it is under his nose or he cast the young talent aside because he could be arsed developing him. Either way, Palmer has shown our club what he is capable of . We let one slip through the net i'm afraid . A big fuck up from Pep.
I watched some of the game with over 200 in a French bar near Biarritz. They were shocked to lose but took it in good grace. Paris might have got trashed i don't know? Anyway it was clear that it was a big game and meant a lot. City going out early to an average side was another Pep fuck up

Palmers stats dipped massively last season, went from 22 goals 11 assists to 15 and 8. Let’s see how he does this season

Haaland's dipped last season, and the season before that.

It is all to easy to take things out of context. Whilst Palmer was sitting on the bench 'Learning', City under Pep racked up 4 in a row. Should that be swapped so that a teenager gets a chance to play ?

But we would have won so much more if the club hadn't made all those mistakes that resulted in all the huge failures.

Or maybe if he was still here we wouldn't have lost two FA cup finals in a row

Probably says more about the weird cunts that are still arguing Pep was correct to let him leave and that Pep never ever ever makes mistakes.
Very weird behaviour.

Having an opinion on something and expressing that opinion politely, however flawed the opinion, versus trying to shut down debate by claiming ones own opinion as fact and then resorting to name calling when it doesn't work.
I know which of the two is the weird behaviour.
