Pep says Stones does not need surgery but still says he’ll need 8-10 weeks to recover. He talked of Echeverri contributing in the Clubs championship rather than any earlier although he hasn’t seen him in training yet. He gave the impression Bobb was just about to start training although he appears to have done so already. He was very positive about his abilities.

Echeverri is top drawer, granted he is young but he is ready to go for us now. No need to wait , we need fresh talent

True Mase. I've just read that he has been injured 11 times since he joined City and has been plagued by this foot injury throughout his career. Begs the question why we didn't pick this up in his medical or if we were aware and wanted to risk it because of his talent we can't moan when it goes tits up, like it has done
