No idea what some see in him he is fucking shit. Lazy half arsed player, goes down when breathed on, offers nothing. No idea why he brought on a loose Canon who loses the Ball 9 times out of 10 whilst trying to grind out a result where keeping possession was key.

How, in anyone’s world but Pep’s is Savinho a better option than Bobb ? I want the bald cunt to leave our club, get Kompany in and let’s crack on. We have the same points total after 5 games as the rags, it’s fucking pathetic. Bobb is a terrific player and Pep is going to piss him off big time by not playing him, and when he does play him, which will be soon because all of our boys got injured today, he’ll play him on the wing, he’s not a fucking winger, he’s a midfielder buzzing around in the middle. Our title challenge is practically gone after 5 fucking games and our cunt of a manager is hell bent on hammering square pegs into round holes. Just fuck off.

Had last week someone said we'd win the derby 3-0, beat Napoli 2-0 and draw at Arsenal whilst nearly completing a smash and grab, I'd have been more than happy with it.

Donnarumma looks very decent. Khus and O'Reilly look very competent as full backs. Gvardiol and Dias are forming a nice partnership. Doku has had his best week IMO and Haaland has rediscovered his mojo, (if it ever really went away).

It could have been a whole lot worse after the Brighton loss

Yep, 1 all at the end of 3 games in 8 days - especially with only 66h rest against a team who had loads more rest, who ate on better form and who were playing at their home.

Wasn't pretty, parking the bus like that, but a point is not a disaster.

Khusanov took a heavy knock first half, leading to him being subbed. O'Reiily also played really well, given his age/experience and deserves his place in the team imo.

Pep, changed his game plan for once, playing arteta at his own game and it worked for most of the game.

The verbal gooner cunt sat behind me in the bar I was in started celebrating like they'd won the league. Once he'd piped down I turned and said celebrating a last minute equaliser at home is embarrassing.... much to the mirth of the rest of the holidaymakers including his missus.

Gutted to lose the lead and felt it was a poor moment from the back 8 and GK to let them in.

Having said that as a few have said I’d have signed up for these 3 results a week ago. I genuinely feared us losing all 3 with recent derbies, expected Pep to change the lineup mid week and us to just not be good enough at Arsenal.

Pep really showed me something this week and I hope a few on his case here see it.

Firstly so many complain he chops and changes back 4. Well to play the same team 3x in a week was something I never saw coming. More of this please pep.

Secondly we play side ways and backwards and everyone moans we don’t release Haaland. Arsenal actually looked like us from last season and we tried something new. 6 mins longer and it would have been the first real smash and grab of Peps career. It was icky as fuck but sometimes it needs to be and it showed the willingness to adjust and that’s a huge sign for me.

Cmon City!!!

I would like to know where they got 4 minutes in the first half and 7(but let's play 9 anyway) in the second from.

mr_nool wrote:I liked this new cynical side of City. Thought we were great in the first half. We were happy with conceding possession and we're dangerous on the counter. Did they have one good attempt in the first half?

In the second our legs went, so I understand Pep's pragmatic approach. It did almost work.

I thought Bernardo was one of our better players and that Reijnders was more than alright. Nico is growing into the left back role and, despite the early slip, Nunes did alright. That said, him playing right back gives me the shivers.

Foden's been returning to form, but this was a game that largely past him by. My MoM was Doku.

Agree with all that, conceding late made it feel a bit of a lost opportunity, but it was coming and I do think Pep was being pragmatic.

Doku and Haaland as an outlet for FAST transitions is a sign that we're really starting to play to our strengths rather than just a belief in playing by numbers, and that's 2 weeks in a row now Haaland has scored goals exactly like he used to at Dortmund running from inside his own half.

Even though we're less structured, we have the players to really do damage on the counter and I've been arguing ever since signing Haaland that we needed to let teams onto us more so we could play to Haaland's pace. Haaland and Doku now is actually quite a thing for teams to think about, and when you have the likes of Foden, Reindeers and Bernardo who can make good progress on the ball and pass very well on the break, I wonder if this is a sign of an evolving 'we'll score one more than you' approach.

Fair fucks to Pep for changing it these last few games - it's not always been pretty, but a week with a comprehensive win against the rags, comfortable against Napoli and nearly against a very good arsenal side, and I think we're on the right track

Usually, City from 2-3 years ago would have scored another in the second half, but, as I said, the difference for me was made by the subs.

They got Saka and Eze on, while we've got only players that should not have been here anymore, including Nico G and Savinho.
I don't like the small squad option, but if you are going to have that, you need solid subs, players that will come and make a difference.
At the moment we have a small squad filled with injury prone deadwood.

Thinking about it this morning, playing against 12 for most of the match the boys did well. Anyone need proof of pure corruption need to look no further than yesterday's game.

Doku was booted constantly - nothing.
Donna told the ref at half time he was having his shirt pulled at corners - nothing.
Trossard not even booked for launching a ball at Bernardo.
Every time they fell over - free kick.
Won't let us take the corner end of the first half but played well over the 7 minutes second half.
Arteta in the 4th face constantly. Pep breathes - booking
