Steve Bruce about to receive another P45 after being sacked by Blackpool. How this fucker gets employed to manage professional football clubs will be forever one of life’s mysteries

Russell Martin apparently going to be sacked in the morning according to Sky.

He had to have a police escort from the ground today

Quite possibly. Be surprised but in football there's very little that surprises anymore

Have to admit it is a bit funny to see that it is considered quick. Here, we had managers who coached three different teams in a season, the current champs are led by their owner and so on.

Ang sacking was confirmed 19 minutes after the final whistle. Can’t recall a sacking so soon after a match before?

Hes a completely shit manager and he gets all high and mighty because he won a losers cup ! the premiership is way too strong for him to manage here - he should go back to that Micky mouse league way way up north.

Silly as it sounds after this disaster is I don’t think he’s a shit manager. Stubborn and ignorant right now. He can take a team on par with the big hitters, play good football and win stuff.

He cannot take a team that isn’t built for that style without the resources and still play that way. To be honest not too many can. His huge gamble here was taking an impatient owner and team setup to play the opposer of how he wants and thinking he can change it with no transfers. It’ll likely cost him a shot at a better job in England and he’ll need to go abroad now.
Tracking back is overrated.
